Justine Camoin will represent MGI at the PMAWCA (Port Management Association of West & Central Africa) High-Level Seminar on Single Windows in Cotonou (Benin) from 24 to 26 July 2017.

Justine is a sales representative at MGI and will speak at the seminar on Wednesday 26 July 2017 to present the Marseille port community’s Single Window.

Justine will explain the link between NEPTUNE, Ci5 and the customs system, a project which has been awarded the highest international distinction in the IT category by the IAPH and is a true success story for Single Window systems.

Her presentation will demonstrate the benefits of integrating an information system that can manage ships, goods and the customs system. The powerful interoperability between these three components is what characterises the port Single Window. Defining existing procedures and improving port processes is another important step prior to introducing the Single Window. The new Cargo Intelligent System, Ci5, will also be presented at the seminar.

The PMAWCA is an association founded in 1972, with twenty-two regular port members and nine associate members, including landlocked countries and shipping companies, located along the West coast of Africa, from Mauritania to Angola
