Dominique Lebreton, Audits, Projects and Marketing Director, and Ludovic Valls, Sales Manager, spoke at the international Portcon conference in Miami at 11:15 am on 30 March 2017 during the Technology session on “Port Community Systems/Single Window Environments – Working Together to Facilitate Trade and Productivity.”
The MGI team has drawn on its expertise in Port/Cargo Community Systems (P/CCS) to share its experience in implementing PCS in logistics communities over the past 30 years. MGI prides itself on being at the cutting edge of innovation, using new technologies such as the IoT and artificial intelligence to develop Ci5, the new-generation PCS, while also reinforcing data security.
MGI, only European company at the conference, shared its experience in the Port/Cargo Community Systems implementation in the presence of 70 professionals. Conference participants were mainly North American port authorities including Virginia, Tampa, Miami and New York.
Portcon is a twice-yearly, three-day event, with expert speakers to discuss the following topics: Operators, Technology and Leadership. Representatives from port authorities, terminal operators, American administration and industry come together to extend their network and seize new development opportunities.
