Justine Camoin, Business Developer at MGI, will present Channel 5 before the Port Community System and Trade Facilitation Committee on 10 May during the IAPH (International Association of Ports and Harbors) 2018 World Ports Conference in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Channel 5 is an information channel and decision-making tool for goods management in the port ecosystem. Its aim is to predict port congestion for smoother goods flows. The solution is equipped with an artificial intelligence engine to collect and compile data from various sources that could impact the duration of goods transit. In particular, Channel 5 informs users of congestion levels at the terminal entrance and exit in real time, detects any problems and makes recommendations on how to solve them. The solution also provides forecasts of import and export goods volumes for each period at shipping terminals.

The IAPH 2018 World Conference will be held from 7 to 12 May in Baku, with over 400 participants from ports around the globe.
