MGI has been selected under the Horizon 2020 European programme as an expert in international trade and border crossing for the Selis project – Shared European Logistics Intelligent Information Space.
The Selis innovation project is aimed at offering stakeholders in the various logistics communities solutions for sharing, using and optimising information associated with goods transport. The goal is to help them manage their operations in a more efficient, secure and sustainable way, and ensure the integrity and security of their data.
The AP+ and Ci5 Port Community Systems include regulatory aspects that allow simplified border crossing procedures for goods. MGI will be working with the participating partners*, bringing its expertise to the issue of integrating international regulations into information systems. The project involves eight living labs, and MGI is part of Living Lab 7 – Customs Selis Communities. LL7’s role will be to check compliance of current port and airport procedures with WCO and EU standards and best practice.
