Interoperable Corridors deploying cooperative intelligent transport systems is a European project led by the Netherlands, Belgium, France and the UK.

Enable logistics professionals to track the geographical position of goods and key events, from loading to destination, during road transport between multiple European countries.

Use Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems (C-ITS) technology on vehicles, road infrastructure and communication infrastructure to exchange and share information. The aim is to make road hauler information systems interoperable for door-to-door goods tracking and forward-looking management.

Propose a technological standard that can be rolled out in any European country.
Exchange information on goods transiting through multiple countries via on-board C-ITS technology: collection, loading at port of departure, unloading at port of arrival and loading onto truck, border crossing, arrival at destination.

Expertise in interoperability of multimodal private information systems: maritime and river transport platforms, road haulage

Exchange of information on key events for goods: ETA, booking confirmation check. Information on traffic conditions affecting carriers inside and outside the terminal
